Delicious shrimp sautéed in garlic, sesame oil simmered in curry sauce, celery, potatoes and slices of carrots. No Ka O’e! Manapua—Char Siu Bao or Humbao, our buns are homemade, hot and fresh on Mondays. Coming soon at a Kana Girl’s near you, curry, lup cheong and kalua pork manapua. Muggy's Homemade Kim Chee— Our napa cabbage is blended with an array of Korean spices and then allowed to “age gracefully” to its full flavor.
Muggy's Homemade Takuwan— Also known as Daikon, we slice japanese horseradish before marinating them in my mom's own recipe. "Pomaika'i" for you guys dat my Mada love me! (Ada'wise I no get da ingredients from her) Spam Musubi—Growing up in Hawai’i, spam Musubi was a class field-trip staple. Many a trade was made for this coveted side dish during those lunch breaks at the Honolulu Zoo.
Tofuchini Musubi—Our vegetarian fare has become very popular, even among non-vegans. Slices of tofu and zucchini are sautéed in sesame oil and teriyaki sauce before being placed on a bed of seasoned rice and wrapped in nori. Keoni says they are not only Most Excellent, they stay pretty too. RC's Saimin— The Hawai’ian chicken soup. Our version of Saimin (or ramen as it’s sometimes called) includes a hearty broth, green onions, char siu pork, and flavorful noodles simmered to perfection. No need go jail for dis one! Ahi Poké— Pronounced “AH-hee POH-kee", bite-sized chunks of yellowfin tuna are marinated in shoyu, sesame oil, chili pepper, green onions, ogo (seaweed) and a few other choice ingredients. Served over steamed white rice or as a side dish, “dis stay one winna!” Aleki's Ahi Poké—the same yellowfin tuna blend, minus the ogo seaweed... Steamed White Rice—If you’re like us, you want your rice sticky. Our hinode calrose rice will definitely stick to your ribs.
Squid or Chicken Lu'au—If you want to see Keoni smile big time, be here when he gets his 25-pound shipment of taro leaves! After trimming and washing them, he steams them and simmers the leaves in coconut milk. For chicken luau he adds sautéed chicken and a seafood blend for squid luau. Over rice or as a pupu (side dish), the flavor will remind you of the islands. Fried Rice—A savory mixture of vegetables, char siu pork, and our select spices. “Hit da spot” for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Pelekona's Volcano of Vegetables—We take slices of zucchini, summer squash and fresh spinach and "lomi lomi" (massage) them together in a sauce made up of 3 types of cheese.
